This Rolex Oyster Perpetual Lady-Datejust Pearlmaster watch (Ref: 81318) is a V series from circa 2008 (Rolex Serial Numbers). If you’re looking for a mix between bling and elegance, this is your watch. The solid yellow 18K gold case measures 34mm in diameter and about 36mm including the crown. Housed inside is a Swiss made Rolex caliber 2135 automatic movement. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the mother of pearl dial with gold hands and Roman hour markers. Surrounding the stunning piece of MOP is a gold bezel with 12 factory Rolex diamonds. This timepiece sits about 12mm tall on the wrist and is fitted with the original solid 18K gold Pearlmaster bracelet. As Rolex describes it in their marketing materials:

“Both sensual and sophisticated, this metal bracelet with rounded five-piece links was created in 1992 for the launch of the Pearlmaster model. The Pearlmaster bracelet is always fitted with a Crownclasp.”

At the time of this review, the retail price for a MOP dial diamond bezel Pearlmaster like this was $26,450 USD. This excellent pre-owned example was featured in the KeepTheTime watch store. It is a masterpiece.
