The Expedition North Pole-1 is a limited edition piece from Vostok-Europe. There are only 3,000 examples in the world, this watch being numbered less than 400. The watch comes equipped with a matching NATO strap that is black with a silver/grey double pinstripe. The case is large with a unique design that flares out slightly at the lugs. Another highlight is the thick 4.5mm domed crystal, which is anti-reflective for a clear view into the dial. If you’re into big timepieces, all 52 millimeters (with crown) are sure to please.
The name of the watch, as well as the caseback design, is in honor of the North Pole-1 drifting station manned by Soviet researchers from 1937 to 1938. Read more here.
