While this is a vintage Waltham pocket watch, it’s not the “vintage” that you may be used to when it comes to Waltham pocket watches. It’s not antique-vintage. It’s not an original made in USA Waltham, it’s a Swiss made Waltham with a Swiss made Unitas movement. It’s a part of Waltham history nonetheless, and an interesting piece for any respectable pocket watch collection. Another cool factor is the rarely seen Unitas caliber 431 inside – essentially and oversized 6497. This is a very legible timepiece with bold black Arabic markers and minute/second markers with red numerals every 5 minutes – the beautiful blued hands are an added bonus.

Condition: Very good overall. Winds and sets as it should. The locomotive engraving is still clearly visible on the caseback. This watch puts off a pleasant ticking sound that is not too loud and not too quiet.
