This Kobold USS Pittsburgh Chronograph is a rare watch, made even rarer by the Arctic Blue dial. There were only 50 of this color ever made. In the climb towards the summit of Mt. Rarity, taking the adventure one step further is the black signed rotor visible through the exhibition caseback, as well as the attached stainless steel bracelet (the USS Pittsburgh was often sold on a black leather strap). This piece represents a golden era for the tool watch brand. While the USS Pittsburgh wasn’t exactly a Kobold X Chronoswiss collaboration, some of the components (such as the case, crown, etc) of this model come straight from Chronoswiss and the relationship between the two companies. True Kobold fans will recognize immediately that this watch is almost impossible to find, coming up on almost 20 years since its inception (this model was originally released in 12/2002, read more here).

Condition: Excellent overall. Light signs of wear considering its age. The crystal is excellent. The bezel clicks smoothly and ratchets as it should. The chronograph starts, stops and resets to zero as it should. The bracelet is sized to fit up to about a 7.5″ wrist with no extra links included. Please note that while the bi-color lume still holds some charge, the lumeshot pic was enhanced to show the layout and colors.
