Vintage Elgin pocket watch, made in USA over 100 years ago and still ticking! This hunter case pocket watch has an open face with the crown at 3:00 for a convenient sidewinder style. The case is a “Tornado” model made by Illinois Watch Case Company (IWCCo).

Condition: Running condition. Watch winds and sets smoothly via the crown. The setting lever engages for time setting when the crown is pulled out, and disengages as it should when the crown is pushed back in. The case has some wear but it is good overall. The caseback and bezel screw on to make for a smooth case without gaps. The dial has cracking and chips, the largest of which is around 4:00. The crystal is good with some small blemished on the edge, but nothing major. When fully wound, the movement puts out subtle ticking sound that can be heard but is not obnoxious. This piece has not been serviced or polished by us.
