This American Watch Co. Waltham Seaside pocket watch is estimated to have been made in 1888 or 1889. It is in nice shape for a timepiece that is about 130 years old! It comes in a hunter case from the Crescent Watch Case Company. Unlike many of the “Assembled in USA” watches of today, this timepiece really was Made in America.

Condition: Running condition. The crown winds the movement. The lever set functions as it should. The gold-filled finish is very good. The top and bottom cover each have a small dent which is not extremely obvious thanks to the decorative details. The dial has a hairline crack from 5:00 to 8:00. The crystal is excellent. There are watchmaker service notes engraved on the inside of the cover. This piece has not been polished or serviced by us.
