Vintage Elgin grade 313 pendant style pocket watch from around 1915. Open face with an Arabic font dial. Pendant winding and setting. The movement is a size 16 with 15 jewels. The movement is housed in a Crescent swing-out case, meaning it flips up from the case via a hinge on the dial side (Pro Tip: Never try to swing out the movement with the crown in winding position, always make sure the crown is in the setting position beforehand. Be gentle and don’t force it). Made in USA.

Condition: Running condition. This piece has not been polished or serviced by us. The dial has some light cracking. The movement winds as it should. The crown engages setting mode and the time can be set smoothly. The crystal is in good condition with some small nicks along the edge. The case is good overall but there are some dents along the edge. There are several watchmaker’s service marks etched on the inside. The movement swings out and goes back in as it should. This watch has a relaxing ticking sound that is loud enough to be heard across the room.
