One design aspect of the Sablier watch which is most pleasing and unique is my U.S. patented concave sapphire crystal. In all my years of watch collecting, I have never come across a watch with a concave sapphire crystal. Now, after creating it, I have discovered its unique design benefits when applied to my watches. The concave helps prevent glare. The concave reduces the occurrence of the crystal coming into contact with damaging surfaces which prevents scratching. The concave adds a unique look that is synchronistic with the design of Sablier watches.” –Sablier
