Nomos released a new line of watches. At least that’s what we thought when we got the press-release, only to find that what they really released was a new dial. The Tangente, Tetra, Metro and Minimatik all got facelifts with what they’re dubbing the nachtblau – translate “night blue” in German.

Disappointment narrowly subsided after seeing scans of the midnight blue face. The rhodium plated hands and orange lacquered seconds hand are a sweet bonus. But, alas, it’s a still just a new dial. Not a new watch.

Along with the launch came a set of bizarre marketing videos. Maybe that’s the appeal. Or maybe watch companies are just running out of good ideas. Either way, check out the pics and let us know your thoughts.
