Here is a quick shot of the “1953 Vintage” Glycine Airman pilot watch as captured at Baselworld 2014.This was before Invicta took over the brand in 2016. It is a limited edition flieger with only 600 watches available in the global market.

The display on this watch is ideal watch for pilots. The Glycine caliber GL 293 automatic movement provides a date and a GMT hand (notice the small hand pointing to the 14) against an easy to read 24 hour cream colored dial. This 24hr complication makes it easy to read military time without having to do the calculation in your head.

The 1953 Vintage Airman is a throwback watch so it comes in a throwback wooden case complete with 1950’s vintage style paperwork. As pictured, this watch ships from the factory on a 22mm nato strap.
