This Kobold Phantom Chronograph watch is a custom piece and may be the only one like it in the world. most Phantoms are tactical coated with black PVD or DLC, but this is what is referred to as a “naked” phantom, without any coating. Many of the naked Kobold watches are brushed out with a satin finish, but this watch is high polish steel all around.

The chronograph pushers appear to have a PVD coating on them, as well as the crown. The caseback is exhibition style, which is also a special feature not always found on the Phantoms. Inside is a beautifully decorated ETA caliber 7750 automatic movement with a custom black Kobold signed rotor.

This piece is perfect for a tool watch collector seeking to get into one of the original German-made Kobold cases with notches (Fricker). There are some signs of wear, but it’s in excellent condition overall. It’s a Kobold and it is meant to be worn! If you want a watch to wear while being on an adventure, this is the one for you. Rare piece, rare condition with a rare matching bracelet installed. You won’t find another watch like this in the world……… even from the brand itself.

Condition: Excellent with light wear. The bezel rotates and clicks into place. The day/date flips when it should. The chronograph starts, stops and resets as it should.
