Chronoswiss Wristtimer

Two Watch Tuesday with a rare Chronoswiss Wristmaster (Reference CH-2703). This crazy cuff is inspired by automobile dash clocks and consists of a Wristtimer and Wristcounter side-by-side. Chronoswiss officially describes it as being “absolutely unique in the world of watches”.

The left side of the Wristmaster is called the Wristtimer (Ref: CH-2803) with a standard dial that displays hours, minutes, sweeping seconds and a panoramic date at 6:00. The movement powering this side is a caliber C.950 based on an ETA caliber 2892-A2.

On the right is the Wristcounter (Ref: CH-7503), featuring a central chronograph seconds, a 30 minute counter at 9:00 and a 12 hour counter at 3:00. Exclusive to this model, Chronoswiss calls the movement caliber C.751 – which, in this instance, is basically an ETA/valjoux 7750 without the hour and minute hands.

As for size, the Wristmaster’s overall diameter is 84mm across! The lug-to-lug is approximately 42mm, from top to bottom.

And how about those coin edge bezels and oversize onion crowns, oh my!

This piece was introduced around the time KeepTheTime was founded: 2008. The original retail price is unknown, but Chronoswiss currently has a used piece listed on their site for $15,000 USD.

Would you rock it?
