How often do you see pocket watch makers that still produce modern wristwatches? This antique Longines timepiece is 100 years old and still running and relevant. This stunning open-dial art-deco style pocket watch was produced between 1917 and 1919. Based on the serial number, we’re guessing it was approximately 1918 – which is also the year that inspired this heritage piece. Elegantly constructed from platinum, with a brilliant 54 stone diamond bezel and enamel outer rim (7 more in the bow and 4 in the chain loop). Longines produced many pocket watches for private labels back then, but this piece is strictly Longines, being signed on the dial and movement, making it especially interesting for Longines collectors.

Condition: Running condition, sets the way it should. The dial shows some spotting but good for a watch of this age. The hands and markers have a nice patina. Caseback has wear, specifically scuff marks and noticeable denting – most likely from attempts at removal. The crystal is excellent and all stones are in the bezel.
